Baseball That Brings Our Communities Together
The Hamptons Collegiate Baseball League is about more than what happens between the lines. Our mission is to provide free family entertainment, create meaningful opportunities for area youth and make a lasting, positive impact in the communities our teams call home.
Free Family Entertainment
HCBL games offer families an affordable way to spend a summer evening together while enjoying high-level collegiate baseball. Admission is free, giving residents and visitors the opportunity to cheer on their local team, meet players from across the country and experience the traditions of summer baseball on the East End.
Inspiring the Next Generation
Throughout the season, HCBL teams host free baseball clinics where local children can learn fundamentals, build confidence and interact directly with collegiate players and coaches.
Young fans also become part of the game by serving as bat boys and bat girls. These experiences give children an up-close look at the teamwork, discipline and sportsmanship required to compete at the college level.
Investing in Local Ball Fields
The league and its teams work with local municipalities, schools and community organizations to improve the fields where our games are played. These improvements benefit not only HCBL players, but also local youth programs, school teams and community leagues that use the facilities throughout the year.
Supporting the Local Economy
HCBL games bring players, families, scouts, college coaches and fans into our communities throughout the summer. Visitors dine at local restaurants, shop at area businesses and explore the towns surrounding each ballpark.
Many player families also rent homes or stay in local hotels when visiting their children during the season, providing additional support for the East End’s tourism and hospitality industries.
A Positive Impact Beyond the Ballpark
By bringing people together, creating opportunities for young athletes and supporting local businesses and recreational facilities, the HCBL contributes to the quality of life in each of its communities.
The result is more than a summer baseball season. It is a shared community experience that connects players, families, volunteers, businesses and fans through a love of the game.
